I love presents. Bella was really good to me this year…the little teacup poodle gave me a folding cutting table! Such a good dog! And I got a princess tiarafrom my brother in law because he knows me really well. I also got the Black Adder series, and some cool books and some cool jewelry and these great red sparkly shoes and some castle minis with a book and a gift certificate… I was a good girl this year!

I love embroidery machines. I’m just personalizing some Christmas presents (and a Chanukkah present for my favorite Jewish dog) and I’ve got Mom’s Brother PE150…it’s cool. It’s just a simple little embroidery machine, plus she has the software to make your own designs, but I’m still learning that. It’s just sooo cool. I love it. I’m getting more used to it. Now if I can just figure out how to make it do blackwork for me…

I love winter, really I do. I just hate that it’s the same season as all those damn greeneries coming inside to kill me, and that flu season is at the same time. Inevitably, I’m sick. Again. Stupid low immune system. The most irritating thing about being sick on a perfect winter day is missing the opportunity to do some good sewing because the meds are messing with your head and a simple sewing project turns into a big production. Pooh.
