I’m still tired from Christmas.
Christmas Eve, we lost power. I have a LOT of candles at Jen’s house from our Orrorsh section in Torg. I still didn’t light all the candles I have, had only 2 dozen going and Chris was able to read fairly easily. Power came back at around 2-3am. We have gas baseboard heat so that wasn’t a problem ( I wasn’t sure if it would be). We couldn’t get a fire going because that would require us to get the firewood in the garage that doesn’t have a man door.
Of course CJ made out like a bandit.
As usual, my favorite gift came from Bella. She always gives me the best gifts. A few years ago she got me a cutting table. This year she got me POF 4. W00T!!!! It’s so pretty and color. *pant pant drool*
My in-laws got me a Butterick pattern cabinet from a going out of business JoAnn’s, but my FiL refinished (sanded, primed & painted) it so it looks almost brand new. I just hope it fits in the basement or this desk I’m using right now will go back in the garage…
I think I’m coming down with something. Yea.

 Dear Santa…Dear Santa, This year I’ve been busy! In July I got in line at the supermarket at the same time as someone else and I didn’t yield (-8 points). Last Wednesday on a flight to Vancouver, I stole the emergency flight information card (-40 points). Last week I gave no_more_cows a life-saving blood transfusion (50 points). In April myladyswardrobe and I robbed a bank (-50 points). In September I pushed elaine242 in the mud (-17 points). Overall, I’ve been naughty (-65 points). For Christmas I deserve a spanking!

I’m excited!!!! Something big is going to happen. It may result in a new character…it may not. Either way, it’s going to be dramatic and awesome. I love this Thursday group. Hopefully the snow will wait until I’ve gotten home.

OMG it was GREAT! So, we were going up against Minoru, Rei’s Fiancee who she accidentally killed as she was working as a security guard at the museum, he was stealing something. She was charged with murder, but was exonerated with last minute video evidence. She ran across him when she was working for Yuri Tokagowa helping the Storm Knights in Japan. They finally found him in Orrorsh after having many dreams/nightmares about an all too perfect life with him. He offered to let them leave the island if she would stay with him. She/they refused so he offered to try to convince her, and he started to suck the life out of her by dancing…while zombies attacked the rest of the party…zombies of people some of them knew in life. Insert Dear Lucid song here So after they defeated the zombies, Rei fell to the floor dead…I asked if anyone had rez, no. Ren tried to revive her with CPR, rolled really good, no. I got up "You killed me off without a way to resurrect me?!" and I pushed Dave (our GM & my BiL), I didn’t realize he was actually squatting on the seat hiding under a blanket, and when I gave him a gentle push, he toppled right over. I totally didn’t expect that. Then I stormed out, stormed back, got my shoes & coat, went out for a bit, came back saying that Mom would kill me if I left him here, and they were trying to cpr and stuff…to no avail, and also trying to defeat Minoru, to no effect. Then Dave introduced my new character Albert, who then smote Minoru. Everyone then was like "Hey, wait, you had this PLANNED?!!!" Dave and I chuckled our asses off. We really need to move our game to someplace we can be louder at. I love that CJ sleeps through our Friday gaming as long as no one screams…
It was awesome. Dave is a great GM and Brother. I’m lucky. I’m also lucky he didn’t get hurt when he fell over…he really needs to sit in a chair properly. Oh, and the snow hasn’t hit…yet.
Chris just got laid off from his job at the automotive supplier he’s worked at for the last few years. Grrreat.
