I HATE Squirrels. (but I Like Anime Cons)

First, anyone have any network admin positions in the Detroit/Troy/AnnArbor area open? Chris still has no luck finding a new position. :(

I really really really hate Squirrels. They keep trying to make nests in our cars. I don’t know if it’s the regular or ground squirrels. Either way, I hates ‘em. Chris’ car was making a horrible buzzing noise from the dash board. I finally was able to look at it in the daylight, take apart the glove box, and pull out the air conditioner filter, and on top were several nuts that had been chewed and discarded, and some fur. Not enough that I think that the little b@$+@rds got liquefied in the engine…I couldn’t be that lucky. Anyway, at least before our 6+ hour trip to Niagra, we don’t have to listen to that horrible buzzing. It was only for my 2.5 hour trip this past weekend to Jafax (which was très cool).

So I this past weekend, I went to Jafax to help with her booth while she ran the costume contest. She’s been trying to get me to come to the dark side with Cosplay… < smart @$$ > Oh such a hard sell… < / smart @$$ > So I went as Haruka Shitow from Rahxephon. She was the only Anime character that wasn’t a teenager that was still cool that I could think of, and that wore more than a battle thong… (I love Ghost in the shell, but I am so not in shape to wear the Major’s outfits). Now what should I do for Youmacon?!?!

CJ is 2

CJ is 2 and acting like it. He got sent to bed for talking back to Momma. I am SO not going to be one of those Moms who lets their kids tell them what to do.
He was with Grandma & Grandpa on his actual Birthday, but we had a joint birthday party with my niece Grace the week after. It was very cool. He now likes the word “presents”.
