Costume Attention Deficit Disorder attacked me this weekend.
So while Daddy was out playing with his toy soldiers and CJ was out with Grandma, I thought I’d get Chris’ Tudor done… well, I knew I’d forget that and work on my Pirate outfit instead. Well, I forgot both of those, and made Chris a mad hatter style top hat instead. *facepalm* FOR MORE CLICK HERE…
Ok, so I was watching Pirates of the Caribbean, and the other day was Blackbeard on National Geographic, and tonight is supposed to be Pirate Code on Nat. Geo…. and if you remember, we have a Pirate game going…And I’ve been nicknamed the IT Pirate by Kate a loooong time ago… Yar.

So we had another session of our Pirate game…I was able to record it digitally so I can update the story soon. Soooo frustrating for player… I know there’s some stuff that’s so close to coming out, yet…ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! Then Dave & Kristy are going to a con right after work next Thursday, so we may or may not game… AAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! 
I really want to make a waistcoat like Rojo’s. I have to see if I can find some nice black brocade that would work…er, wait. I may actually already HAVE some… oh dear. I need to go looking at my pattern stash. Have a great weekend!
Update 1/22/10 : I haven’t gotten a chance to go check my stash, but I’m pretty sure it’s down there. I just have to check yardage. In the mean time I’ve looked through my pattern stash and found some great patterns to make with the brocade. Simplicity 3677 View A & Simplicity 4923 View E (black & white cotton broadcloth), F (cotton twill) and (possibly C from the brocade).
Ok, so I figured I was close…so I’ve stayed up WAAAAAAAAAAYYYY too late and I finished getting “the Game So Far…from Rojo’s PoV” typed in and up. A bunch of it was just changing Doc’s present tense IM with me to past tense for ease of reading. Some was trying to remember what exactly happened in game. Others were getting things straightened out. I had a few facts wrong. You could tell that I hadn’t done much writing except emails and IMs by the differences in our style of writing. Her’s was much more professional…but she did just get out of NaNoWriMo a month and a half ago… My last writing excursion was the other gaming “journal” a looooonnnnnggg time ago… anything pre-CJ is a long time ago. *sigh*
Anyway, it’s up now and ready for our next game session. 
I just added a new section to my little page on our latest Thursday game. “the Game So Far…
from Rojo’s PoV” I figure I’ve got about half the story so far. I’ll be adding to it until I get it caught up.
There are several lone sections where the GM and I had online sessions without the other pcs involved…which I hope will really cut down on time the others aren’t involved during Thursdays. And I get my RPG fix in during the week. I’m such an RPG junkie.
