Ok, so I need some more inspiration for garb. It’s like I have a spark of inspiration for garb, but no tinder to keep it going. Anyone got suggestions?
I did happen to get a bit more cleaned up in the dining room…still need to do more. Yay.
Still need to work more on CJ’s Edward, haven’t touched it in a few days. I should at least get him a new shirt done. Maybe I’ll try to whip one out tomorrow. I’ve got some embroidered linen to do a little dandy shirt for him…I just don’t know if I’m going to use white or black lace… If I use the black lace, I’ll want to do a little faux blackwork with my sewing machine… I just don’t know if I want to mess with that right now.
I can hear the hail outside hitting the window. Oh man getting my car ready in the morning is going to be a pain in the butt.
Yay! I like it when stuff gets done. I put a new page up on the new Corseted Duct Tape Dress Form Mom and I made yesterday. Not only photos, but instructions on how to make one yourself.
I tried the pants (with codpiece attached) on CJ, and they fit!!! YAY! He just needs some tights and I need to finish the “gown”, and see if I’m going to make him a new shirt with some ruffles and lace.
Today I got the Christmas tree put up, and picked up where daddy left off when putting out out-side Christmas lights.
I have to finish cleaning up the dining room, and put out the manger scene, and also finish cleaning my “sewing” room (so I can actually sew in there again). Ok, so the last part is a little doubtful…
I need to clean out my jewelry box…es…es…es. Well, at least organize them. I don’t need 1/3 of my dresser covered in full jewelery boxes. Most are garb or costume jewelry pieces anyway…

Ok, so this weekend I had a blast working on all my sewing and other projects on Saturday, then seeing a bunch of creative people that I haven’t seen in a long time at work on Sunday.
I got a bunch of stuff done on projects, but the house is a wreck. Working on dishes right now. The dishwasher is running and I’m waiting for CJ to get done with breakfast to wash his bowl too. The gigantic pot is soaking.
When I get done, I want to find the bias tape to make boning casings for the under bust corset for GenCon/Steampunk.
How do you get crayon off of a window…and a stone sill…? Windex doesn’t seem to help much.
I swear the windows are the coolest part of this house. The basement ones need to be changed, I think they might be 1940s original…I need to find someone to do glass block…
