Huzah! Chris started the first day of his new job today! I think it’s going to be an even better opportunity for him than the position he was laid off from. Better pay, better benefits, more room to grow doing stuff he knows how to do in a company that is in a more stable industry.
I’m so proud of him. *beeming* He wasn’t jobless for a whole month, it was like only 3 weeks in the worst economy in our lifetime. He was posting to jobs every night and making contacts, he never gave up, and it paid off. And I get to stay in Michigan with our families, and keep our home.
I should make him a new pair of sleeves…or maybe just finish one of the projects for him that I started years ago… hmmm…
