One thing I’ve noticed with having CJ around is that I don’t have any time for mental rest. And even when I’m physically resting, my mind isn’t. This weekend we got a PS2. It helps to mentally distance myself from everything else. And I set goals, "I’ll play for a while after I’ve got <fill in the blank> done." The mindless games help me focus more than I had ever realized before. Wow. If only Chris had showed me that there is a pause button before the weekend was over.

Today I made it my special day. After running my errands with my Dad, I showed my parents Dave’s PS2 and Katamari game before they went to work. CJ was a pretty good boy today, and he let me play for the most part. Then we came home, and had lunch, I played some more. My mother in law came over for our afternoon ritual, of supper and NCIS…she watched CJ while I showered, we went shopping, got some Chinese food, and watched the new episode. It was a good day. No real pressure, no hard fighting with CJ, just chilling with a mindless game of rolling up the world…which I did, right into the sun. It was a good day.
Dear God did I miss days like this. More than anything else since being a Mom. The only thing that would have been better is if I could have slept in and didn’t have to change diapers.
Now I say this…but at the same time, I know that I am extremely unstable. I can be going really good, and any little thing comes around and makes me question my entire existance, and in a puddle in the floor. I guess it just makes me appreciate the little simple special moments a bit more now because they are so much fewer and in much greater contrast than before.

So I still haven’t gotten my sewing room up and running, though I’ve got most all of Chris’ stuff out, I just have to put stuff together in here.
I’ve been geeked over the Thursday night game and I’ve been doing stuff online for it. This website keeps getting updated mostly…

I’m still here. The meds have been making me much more mellowed out (and these ones aren’t making me more sick or more violent). I’m not about to kill everyone/anyone/myself for the slightest…er slight. Things are doing much better. The new sewing room is starting to come together, I just need to figure out tables, and get DC (Daddy Chris) to find out why my pc doesn’t get internet now. Once that gets fixed and the room gets put back together, I’ll post another update.
