Anyone have a Costume or Sewing term they’d like to see on Costume Word of the Week? I’m currently using words that I’m mostly familiar with, and I’ve had to explain to people before. I do still try to look up each word to make sure I’m explaining it properly, and to get other references, but I’d like to get ones I’m not as comfortable with as well.
CJ and Daddy and I all went out to the pumpkin patch. We did everything there. It was awesome. CJ was a good boy. I got a new book and had great conversations with Daddy. He had a good time with barbecuing and fire outside until it got too cold for the little one. Then we came in and started a fire and had mulled cider & carved the pumpkin. The only thing that was bad was that Daddy got a horrible headache that the asprin put him to sleep.
This will be one of those days I always remember as one of the best days. I love fall. I love my family. But now I need sleep. Tomorrow for learning ASP perhaps. I’m looking forward to tomorrow (and not because something is supposed to happen, just because the people I love are going to be here). It’s the first time in a LONG time that I haven’t needed a specific something to look forward to. It’s sad, but a very, very long time.

This weekend Chris was out of town and I was recovering from a sinus infection so I stayed with my parents Friday, and my in-laws on Saturday. Both Moms helped keep an eye on CJ so I could get some stuff done , and I got 2/3 of DadP’s reloading machine covers done. I did a little with a caul to sell. Sunday MomP watched CJ so I could go to a sewing day with some of the girls. I was able to finish one of the french hoods I’ve been working on, and the last reloading cover, and got a bit done on several coifs.
It was a very successful weekend. Yay!!!
