gouache gold. For the calligraphy, I used a bamboo (dip) pen and

Celtic
knot-work animal in imitation gold leaf and gwash (red).
I just wanted an excuse to play with the gold leaf so I made a
card.
Purple
Fret with Capital W in mid-text that I made for Val-Day 2006
(I think I did pretty good for working on it while out of town and
having a fever).
This
is the 15th C. English Illuminated Manuscript of Chaucers'
Canterbury Tales.
Award
of Arms with a capital B that I made for 12th Night 2006.
