Colonial Jacket

This has been made from a cotton with wool crewl work embroidery (same as the one, pre-dying, from the surcoat and kirtle) and made with the Lady’s Jackets pattern from JP Ryan view A. It is lined with a linen blend. The stomacher is reversable with the pink on one side, and matching the jacket on the other. The cuffs are lined with the same silk that is used to cover the covered buttons that the silk ribbon lacing wraps around. The gathered ribbon around the collar is a silk satin ribbon.
