It's a new year, so I've archived last year's front page with updates here. I finally uploaded a couple pictures from the 2006 Tennessee Renaissance Festival. That was a busy year, and I FINALLY got Chris to show me where he hid the pics on his computer.
Gandalf Bear Liz, who's name I got for our gaming group Christmas exchange, loved her FF1 White Mage purse and dice bag with cross stitch embroideries, and dice. She also traded for the Gandalf bear I put in for the white elephant gift exchange. Yea! I feel appreciated! Kristie got my name, and she made a -gorgeous- portrait of my new Torg PC Albert. Go see if she has it up yet at her Deviant Art site yet. She is amazing. Bella in the Royal Room at Haberman Fabrics. Bella likes French Lace.
I got lots of cool stuff for Christmas including a cool teapot, a cool charm necklace, a pattern cabinet, some nice dress shirts for work, books and Bella got me the coolest thing, PoF 4!!! I love that little dog.
I have totally put the Edwardian corset on the back burner. This past week, all three of us have gotten the stomach flu, CJ seems to be bouncing back from it the quickest. YEA! He didn't get MY immune system! I think his went through almost completely in about 18 hours. Mine has taken about 48, Daddy's took about 48. He was such a good little trooper, CJ that is. (1-5-09 Update: CJ was just hiding it REALLY well. He was sick again all Sunday, so I didn't go to work, but no nap for me either. :P I hope it stays away now. My poor little guy has been so miserable, but dealing with it really well.)
I think I may simplify the look of the website a little bit, streamline it a bit more, and make it quicker to download, and easier to view on crappier systems...I've got a "new" old laptop that can't do higher resolutions...the current format doesn't work well with it. I needed something to run Win 98 on that still has the old connectors and is portable so I could use the embroidery machine software that I have. The updates from their website didn't seem to work with XP. I finally got my new addiction up on it too, FF1 (Final Fantasy 1 ala Nintendo Emulator)... It's still slow, and I can get WiFi with a USB card, but I can't use IE >5, or anything with Flash. It just crashes it all. It works and I want my website to look good no matter how it's being viewed. I have to work tomorrow so I had better get to bed. I really need to realize that since having CJ, coffee does actually affect my ability to calm down and go to sleep. I used to be able to have a cup right before bed and sleep all night...oh well.

My two favorite pattern companies.
