I don’t really care when Cam calls me names, ok, I do. It doesn’t quite bother me as much as when I’m just joking around with the guys, and Al keeps telling me to quit fighting. It’s kuso banter! I’ve been bored as hell around the apartment with Cam playing house, Al comes in and brings this cowboy gaijin in and is all over him and I’ve got my problems to boot. I finally get to be part of the drekkin’ conversation and I get jumped on. I can’t even talk? Tanj! The hell with that drek. I’ll get back to them before we have to meet with Frankie. Until then, to hell with those fragged geese.

People piss me off…all the time. But when it’s Cam… *sigh* I hate when it feels like the respect is one way. There’s a difference between concern for someone and treating them like a kid, or picking on them. Getting it from a bunch of different angles, and then she sets me up for some sort of sick practical joke. No. Enough.

At least she listened. I don’t know how much she heard.

I apologized to Al about the whole “unwanted attention” thing. I think she took it ok…she didn’t try to punch me again. I’d have stopped her this time.

Exactly what makes up life? Is it something that can be copied? Can a spirit be split? Can there be one spirit of a person both in astral space and on the matrix?

Can someone copy a spell and use it on the matrix? I know that there are equations and sometimes they can look a lot alike, but – ?

Anyone hear about anyone having success with any of this?

I’ve really got to stop using Al to irritate Naull. She’s totally not my type, but she is just so easy to target and he rises to the occasion so easily. *sigh* Nice body, but not enough in it… what a waste.

On the other hand, there’s Dani. She’s wiz. Now, not in the same way. She’s a cute kid, and she’s like a spirit in lolita, but she’s an AI. Fascinating. I only wish I knew a spirit as cute and friendly as her.

Cam. I know she has guys. But damn you don’t have to tell me you tried out the simsense we just stole and that it does amazing things for you in bed. Maybe I was reading too much into it, but knowing Cam…

That Watcher spirit I summoned was great. Kicked me on my ass tho. I swear I pulled a muscle. I really need to do some Feng shui in this apt.

We were set up… I know we were. There’s no way anything that big should have had that little security. Even with that lousy drek that shot me. I’m even more leery about the meet with the Johnson now. I’m really tempted to leave my shoes at the apartment and go there astral. Only problem, I’d probably not be able to see anyone since all the “people” there barely have anything left to call themselves human with. That doesn’t leave much of a signature to lock onto. Besides, if I have to, I’ll need my meat body to drag Cam out. I really don’t like the idea of that.

When astral, and looking around, do not try to strain to hear things. WTF? I get back to my meat body and I can’t hear a damn thing. I hope it goes away. It’s got everyone spooked now. I’m only catching parts of conversations. I know when Cam went to go get our stuff, she said she thought she was being followed by the cowboy from NovaChord. I tried looking for him, but couldn’t see him. Then when I got back to my body then…fragger. I need to just sleep this off, I hope.

Anyway, she called a friend from the CAS about him. Then she gets all up, something about Ares, and then Hadrian goes all flippy and harddumps from the matrix. Then I realized something’s wrong. Not with the run, but for Cam. Yeah, he tripped something and matrix spirits came chasing him or something. What was wrong was the look from Cam. She hasn’t let a dick get to her like this since… yeah. Drek, I ‘m not going to be protecting him too. I’ve got enough to worry about with my sweet cousin.

Yeah, she’s a big girl, she can take care of herself… blah blah blah. She’s special. I don’t know why. It’s not just because she’s my cousin. She’s always been special, something about her has always been, different. Maybe that’s part of the reason they tried to erase her. I don’t know. God I hope this otolaryng thing gets better. I really need to listen to some music or something to distract me. I never even thought about it before, but Cam smells nice. Kind of like home. Friggin astral jolt.

I thought Cam was above all that “bloodline/fealty” shit since we’ve been run out of the TT. I guess she drank a lot more deeply of the punch than I thought she did. When we were kids it never mattered. She never had to worry about it I guess. It always bothered the hell out of me when we’d end up somewhere with guys that considered themselves of higher rank than us, and they’d treat my mom like crap. I didn’t care how they treated me, but not my mom. She worked really hard every day while those guys sat on their asses had parties, and treated others like they weren’t worth anything. It wasn’t even like there was anything to inherit! Less than 100 years ago the TT didn’t even exist! The whole thing is a farce! The only thing their system does is make it easier to treat people they don’t like, like gaijin.

It just hurts that Cam doesn’t even see that the system she seemed to like so much got her on the wrong end so very easily, and she still doesn’t see… *sigh*
